Verse 1:
E E/D#
There's no combination of words
        C#m B
I could put on the back of a postcard
A A/G#
No song that I could sing
    F#m B
But I can try for your heart
E E/D# C#m B
Our dreams, and they are made out of real things
       A A/G# F#m B
Like a shoe box of photographs with sepia-toned loving
E E/D#
Love is the answer
             C#m B
At least for most of the questions in my heart
     A A/G# F#m
Like: "Why are we here?" And "Where do we go?"
                       B
And "How come it's so hard?"
E E/D#
It's not always easy and
           C#m B
Sometimes life can be deceiving
A A/G# F#m B B/C
I'll tell you one thing: it's always better when we're together

Chorus 1:
A B B/C A
Hmm, it's always better when we're together
                         B B/C A
Yeah, we'll look at them stars when we're together
                    B B/C A
Well, it's always better when we're together
                    B
Yeah, it's always better when we're together

Interlude:
E | E/D# | C#m | B | A | A/G# | F#m | B (2x)

Verse 2:
E E/D#
And all of these moments
                                   C#m B
Just might find their way into my dreams tonight
       A A/G#
But I know that they'll be gone
           F#m B E E/D#
When the morning light sings, and brings new things
      C#m B A A/G#
For tomorrow night you see that they'll be gone too
           F#m B E E/D#
Too many things I have to do but if all of these dreams might find their way
         C#m B A A/G#
Into my day to day scene I'd be under the impression
       F#m B E E/D#
I was somewhere in between with only two, just me and you
             C#m B
Not so many things we got to do
     A A/G#
Or places we got to be
           F#m B B/C
We'll sit beneath the mango tree now

Chorus 2:
A B B/C A
Yeah, it's always better when we're together
                         B B/C A
Hmm , we're somewhere in between together
                    B B/C A
Well, it's always better when we're together
                  B
Yeah, it's always better when we're together

Interlude:
E | E/D# | C#m | B | A | A/G# | F#m | B (2x)

Bridge:
              B
I believe in memories
             A B
They look so, so pretty when I sleep
        A B
Hey now, and when I wake up,
              A B
You look so pretty sleeping next to me
             A B
But there is not enough time,
             A B
And there is no, no song I could sing
              A B
And there is no, combination of words I could say
             A B
But I will still tell you one thing
We're better together

Outro:
E | E/D# | C#m | B | A | A/G# | F#m | B (2x)

  1. Guitar chords for songs site. I will have to remember that. This does make it simpler to do with the guitar chords for these songs written in. Do you have any songs with the notation as well? That way, if you don’t know the song, you could learn the notes; then play the guitar chords while singing.

  2. Love this song, Reminds me about childhood guitar lessons, I had the best guitar teacher, unfortunately I wasn’t the best student. still I’m happy i learn a little bit. and it’s newer to late to improve your guitar skills.
