Absolutely love this song, it is so iconic just based on a few notes. Thanks so much for drawing this up, I had been looking for an easy way to learn it without having to go pay for the sheet music directly. This is great!

Clapton did such a great job with this song – thanks so much for posting these chords.

Dumb question, but a Japanese band named Kobukuro produced a version of this song (in English) but at a faster tempo in 2010. Would it be the same chords, just sped up? Or do you think it might be a bit different?

Hi Dave! Thanks for your comment. I didn’t know Kobukuro, great discovery. Yes, it’s the same chords, a bit sped up.

Oh I do love this song! I can’t believe that the list of chords is so short. I imagine then that this song would be a more simple song…say maybe a beginner could play this song? I am not familiar with all the notes listed. I guess I need to learn more about sheet music!

Hey Matts Mom! Thanks for coming back on my website. It can be a bit hard for a beginner to learn this song, especially for the bar chords and the strumming. However with patience, yes, it’s possible. Well, here, the notes listed are actually chords. For example Am means A minor. E means E Major. If you need any advice, I can help you!
