  1. I learned how to play the guitar myself in high school and enjoy the fact that you are taking the time to teach others online. Its amazing how much one can learn thanks for the lessons!!! 🙂

    1. Hey Bequer, I started playing just after high school. It’s my passion and I love teaching. So it’s also a pleasure for me to do such a website! Thanks for this comment.

  2. Man this is really useful for someone who’s learning the guitar and is challenged audibly as well 🙂

    Thanks a lot!

    1. Hey Vivek! Thanks for passing by again! The ear can be trained overtime. I was not good at picking up which chords was used in a song before, when I just started the guitar (or even a few years after). It takes time and patience!

  3. My son plays the piano, but just recently inherited a guitar from his late grandfather. How long do you think it would take to learn the basics and be able to play songs like this?

    1. It’s an easy song to learn, but barre chords can be challenging. So I would recommend to start out with a different song (like Knocking on Heaven’s Door for example, or Three Little Birds). If your son already plays the piano, being a musician, he should be able to learn the song faster than someone who never played an instrument before.
If he really wants to learn this song, he has to practice barre chords every single day. I have a lesson on barre chords on this website:
